Contre l'étouffement ou la dissipation, cet ouvrage offre au chrétien et à sa vie spirituelle une force et un horizon.--How can we live our lives in faith, at the heart of all our actions, in the world as it is today? How can we gain that 'heart of flesh' and 'supplement of soul' that permits the baptised to reproduce the image of the Son of God - not only in their minds, but in their bodies and in the very fibre of their everyday acts? That is the challenge modern life presents to spiritual masters. This new edition of 'Portrait spirituel du chrétien', with the principal chapters selected and presented by Sister Ghislaine Aubé, helps thwart the conspiracy which constantly seeks to exile man from his most intimate self: his heart. An antidote to suffocation and dissipation, this book offers Christians and their spiritual lives both force and a new horizon.
